Hold Fast XL Product Update: Introducing Our New Harken 40 Winch
A New Look for the Hold Fast XL
You may notice something a little different on the newest Hold Fast XL Rigging System. We’ve transitioned to a new chrome Harken 40 winch.
While the new winch looks different with a chrome finish, the working load capacities and core functionality of the Hold Fast XL remain the same.
The new Harken 40 is about two pounds heavier and features a taller drum, allowing room for one additional wrap of rope.
This change does not mean the previous Harken 40 was inferior. Existing Hold Fast XL systems remain capable, tested systems, and owners do not need to replace their current winch. This is simply the winch configuration we’ll be using on new XL systems moving forward.
As Hold Fast grows, we continue evaluating our components and working with our suppliers to support future production while maintaining the performance our customers expect.
A little more chrome. An extra rope wrap. Still the Hold Fast XL.
